License

This page explains the use of SafeShare Pro in plain language. There are two variants: Pro Person and Pro Team.

The license variant selected at purchase is always the one that applies. This summary is meant to show clearly and fairly what is allowed, what is not, and where the limits of each license are.

1) Overview

Important: This page describes two license variants:
  • Pro Person = for one individual
  • Pro Team = for a team or organization with up to 5 named people
The version selected at purchase always applies.

Note: This page is a plain-language license summary for the use of this bundle. It does not replace individual legal advice.

2) Definitions

  • “Software” / “Bundle” = SafeShare Pro including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS files, icons, handbook, and selftest
  • “Licensee” = the person or organization that legally purchased the bundle
  • “Use” = running the software in a browser as well as storing and backing it up within the permitted scope
  • “Redistribution” = any form of making it available to third parties, for example forwarding the ZIP, hosting it publicly, or placing it in openly accessible folders

3) What you get with your purchase

SafeShare Pro is a digital product. With your purchase, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the bundle within the scope of the selected variant.

The right to use it may end if the license terms are materially violated.

Permitted within your license scope

  • download and local use in the browser
  • storage on your own devices or within your internal IT environment
  • backup copies, as long as access and use remain within the license scope

Not included in the license

  • public distribution, for example through public cloud links, repositories, or forums
  • sharing with people or teams outside the licensed user group
  • operating it as your own service for third parties, for example as SaaS, white-label, or a cleaning service
Transparency: SafeShare Pro consists of local web files that your browser runs. Browsers can usually make such files technically inspectable, for example through page source or developer tools. This concerns the program code, not your entered content, and does not mean external access.

4) Variant A — Pro Person

This variant is suitable if one individual person uses SafeShare Pro personally.

  • The license applies to 1 person
  • That person may use the bundle on any number of their own devices
  • Other people do not receive their own right to use it through this

Typical permitted use

  • use on your own laptop, smartphone, and tablet
  • private or personal backup copies within your own backup context

Typical uses not covered by the license

  • forwarding the bundle to friends, clients, or colleagues
  • placing the bundle in a shared folder from which others can use it themselves

5) Variant B — Pro Team

This variant is suitable if SafeShare Pro is used within a team or organization.

  • Up to 5 named people may use the software
  • Use takes place on devices or in browser contexts that belong to the organization or are managed by it
  • Access to the bundle must be limited internally so that only those licensed people can use it

Internal sharing

Internal download or internal sharing is fine as long as access remains limited to the licensed team members.

Not allowed within the team scope

  • sharing outside the team or organization
  • use by more than 5 people without an appropriate additional license

6) Updates and upgrades

The license applies to the version included in the bundle. There is no automatic entitlement to future updates, upgrades, or new features.

If updates are offered later, the conditions communicated at that time will apply.

7) Support

Support may be offered, but it is not guaranteed. For support cases, the selftest and support report are intended to help classify the technical conditions more clearly.

There is no guaranteed response time and no promise that every issue can be solved, because browsers, webviews, and device environments can behave differently.

Please include for support:
  1. a short description of the problem
  2. the selftest or support report
  3. if needed, additionally the audit/support report from the Pro App

8) Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is.” No guarantee is given that it will always be error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, liability for damages is excluded, in particular for indirect damages, data loss, or loss of profit. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

9) Termination

In the event of material violations of this license, the right to use the software ends. In that case, use must stop and existing copies of the bundle must be deleted.

10) Copyright

SafeShare Pro and all included materials are protected by copyright. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
